We are on a journey of continuous growth – now looking for our next star – a passionate Quality Assurance Specialist This position reports to the Quality Manager and will work in Limerick, Pennsylvania.
About The Position
As Quality Assurance Specialist of the Limerick, PA team, you will be involved in handling day to day interactions with customers concerning quality defects, returns, as well as tracking internal scrap and supplier performance.
- Monitor daily emails from Customer Service and for new RGAs requested and entered in MAIN
- Updating the Customer Complaints Tracker file with all RGA preliminary information
- Monitor and handle Customer Returns (RGAs)
- Provide Technical Support to Customer Service team as needed
- Providing communication to customers concerning critical issues
- Collaborating with Engineering team concerning warranty, troubleshooting, training, etc.
- Product recertification
- Track warranty issues, internal scrap, and supplier performance metrics
- Manage 8D investigations concerning customer complaint/return
- Create, distribute quality alerts as needed
- Complete all customer SCARS

Skills & Requirements
A suitable background would be a solid experience within Quality Control and Manufacturing as well as the following qualifications and experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline OR 5 years of experience hands on product in lieu of degree
- Minimum 5 years of experience with hands on management of quality defects, scrap, and customer complaints in a manufacturing arena
- Strong technical skills, time management skills, sense of urgency
- Ability to learn nuances of products in a short period of time
- Strong proficiency with MS Office programs including: Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint; and the ability to learn other applications quickly
- Familiar with ERP systems
