Job Title: Fulfillment Specialist

Job Summary:
The Fulfillment Specialist reports to the Fulfillment Director and/or Team Leader during his/her shift. He/She will be responsible for processing a significant volume of medical (ROI) requests in a timely and efficient manner. Will use Avalon equipment and the client’s proprietary software for most all operations. Specific duties and tasks may change from time to time based on the Company's requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Process, print, and package documents of all sizes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Verifying that correct medical records are matched to supporting documents.
- Learn and use all software and equipment necessary for printing and mailing completion.
- Attend to copier needs as needed so machines continue to run efficiently.
- Attend and understand all initial and ongoing training provided.
- Follow and enforce all SOPs as well as review and understand reference material relevant to Protected Health Information and HIPAA regulations as provided.
- Meet or exceed defined productivity metrics.
- Carefully monitor and complete the process to make sure that all printing and mailing transactions are successfully fulfilled and that updates are made properly within the provided software.
- Communicate with the distribution center and 3rd party customer service representatives to provide excellent customer service and contribute to a completely HIPAA-compliant release of information process.
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong time management, communication, and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand medical records, forms, authorizations, etc., that are relevant preferred.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision at completion of initial training.
- Ability to operate a desktop computer, scanner, and other common office equipment, including copiers, printers, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic math and computer knowledge.
- Experience in the ROI field or healthcare systems preferred.
- HIPAA Certification preferred but not required.
Education And Experience:
- Minimum of a high school diploma.
- No experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer or other office equipment.
- Prolonged periods of standing in front of office equipment.
- Occasional bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling carts
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
