Job Location: Douala, Cameroon.
About the Role: Sun King is looking for a Senior Finance Associate to join its Finance team in Cameroon. The Finance Associate will work closely with the Finance team in Cameroon, Togo and West Africa to ensure the organisation has adequate human capacity to cater for the financial books and record (account payables and receivables) in the region.

What You Would Be Expected To Do

• Receive and process all Expense requisition, Purchase Orders, Invoices and otherrequests for payments.Reconciliation of processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reportsto balances.Perform daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations of Bank and Telco Accounts.Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accurate accountsand cost centers (AP, AR, GL entries).Maintaining filing systems of all accounting and finance documents and vouchers ina manner which ensures ease in retrieval and reference.Ensure compliance with local tax laws, OHADA accounting standards, and companypolicies.Assist with the preparation for external and internal audits.Perform monthly inventory counts and reconciliationAsset accounting and managementPerform tax computation, declaration and remittance

You Might Be A Strong Candidate If You :

• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or any related other related field. ACCA/FMVA/Other related Qualification will be an added advantage.
• Have a minimum of 4 years experience as finance professional or related role.
• Proficient in integrated financial management software, (SAP will be an added advantage).
• Proficient in Excel, Google Sheet, Word and PowerPoint.
• Extensive knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS & SYSCOHADA, fiscal procedures, and applicable tax codes).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Great evaluative reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
• Superb organizational and time-management skills
• Strong ethics and integrity
