Job Description

As a Retail Media Sales Lead, you will play a key role in the new business generation and development of the group’s new – industry leading - retail media proposition - Elevate.  

  • Work with key internal stakeholders in helping develop key Brand proposals; bringing to life our Elevate media offering in a relevant and tailored way to each Brand partners’ needs and objectives
  • Actively work with the RM Head to proactively generate incremental RM revenue; notably through developing Brand Marketing relationships and bespoke RM proposals with key endemic partners; continually seeking to grow revenue from their existing media budgets
  • Defining an inhouse non-endemic brand strategy; aligning with key Snr internal stakeholders on key non-endemic priority categories/brands and then actively developing tailored pitches to drive engagement (and ultimately revenue) with them
  • Actively lead the development of a core endemic and non-endemic Elevate contact strategy; building up and maintaining key relationships within all key brand partners business, with the aim of incremental revenue gain
  • Support the advancement of capabilities and understanding of the evolving Retail Media landscape across the business. 
  • You will be a key stakeholder in developing the vision, strategy and on-going strategy of our retail media solution.
  • Stay close to new technologies that could enhance our proposition, relaying feedback to the core RM team to enable continual improvement
  • Work closely with our brand marketing teams to present our retail media proposition to our brand partners across the group.

Qualifications

  • Extensive Client Servicing experience / expertise; ideally Media Agency side working with top tier Brand clients in a variety of key Categories
  • Proven Sales experience; proactively generating new business leads and successfully transforming this into incremental revenue through having an excellent understanding of both your core offering, your client’s needs and how to optimise the two
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of both generating Client trust and creating highly relevant, impactful sales proposals
  • Extensive experience presenting to and influencing brand partners or clients.
  • Excellent understanding and experience of working across key instore, ecommerce and digital media channels
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects
  • Hands-on experience with retail media platforms is preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability to work in a fast-evolving retail media landscape.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with internal teams and external brand partners.
