Passionate about the mission and values of Human8, the Regional Head of Finance leads the financial direction of our US organization. The primary objective of this position is to enhance financial performance, manage business risks, and establish the Regional Head of Finance as a key business partner to internal and external stakeholders. This role shapes the financial landscape of Human8 by rigorously managing budgets, resources, and risks while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The Regional Head of Finance plays a pivotal role in driving sustainability, enabling profitable growth, and supporting the realization of ambitious targets in alignment with Human8’s global strategy. As a core member of the US Leadership Team, the Regional Head of Finance acts as a trusted partner to the CFO, CEO, Regional MD, and senior stakeholders, ensuring strong financial discipline and enabling business transformation.Responsibilities
Governance & Compliance- Ensure all statutory obligations (e.g., filings, tax submissions, audits) are compliant and completed in a timely manner. Guarantee timely monthly & quarterly reporting.
- Regionally organize & oversee yearly local audits which results in audit reports without material misstatements.
- Guarantee robust internal control processes, ensuring independence and oversight in all approvals (SOX experience desirable).
- Act as the independent “eyes and ears” on the ground, identifying and escalating material going-concern and trading risks to the CFO.
- Approve pricing, MSAs, and commercial contracts above defined thresholds.
- Uphold compliance with global financial, tax, and governance standards; organize and oversee annual local audits resulting in reports without material misstatements.
- Drive aggressive working capital management through advocacy of strong commercial disciplines (time sheet discipline, SOWs, PO management).
- Develop accurate financial forecasts, budgets, and trends to support disciplined performance management.
- Analyze wins and losses, identifying trends and offering insights to improve EBITDA and revenue growth.
- Drive improvements in project and account profitability across the US business.
- Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost management initiatives.
- Educate leaders and teams on commercial requirements and financial best practices, embedding accountability across the business.
Strategic Planning & Change Management
- Build financial models and scenario plans to support decision-making, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Provide data-driven insights and financial analysis to inform strategic choices and assess plan viability.
- Develop financial plans and liquidity forecasts that account for varying scenarios and potential economic challenges.
- Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, CFO, MD, and US Leadership Team, advocating for profitable growth and sound decision-making.
- Support the execution of Human8’s global strategy at the regional level, including progress on the adoption of AI and automation to increase efficiency in financial management and strengthen commercial discipline.
- Foster behaviors and initiatives that promote profitable growth and align with Human8’s mission and values.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, and corporate finance principles, including SOX and internal controls.
- Demonstrated ability to drive profitability improvements, cost management, and working capital efficiency.
- Excellent financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning skills.
- High ethical standards, integrity, and sound judgment.
- Resilience, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to influence at the senior leadership level.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of simplifying financial concepts for diverse audiences.
- CPA required; Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field. MBA is a plus.
- 10+ years of senior finance leadership experience, ideally with international exposure.
- Track record of partnering with senior executives to drive profitable growth and operational discipline.
