Junior Software Developer Backend (m/f/d)

We support our customers in making buildings more climate-friendly, more comfortable and more affordable - with connected real estate, simple products and high processing and service quality. We provide our customers with efficient, tailored processes and applications for operating IoT infrastructures in real estate, as well as our flexible Enterprise-IoT-Suite, in which we manage data from many millions of sensors into intelligent products and services.

With a team of product and IT experts, the future position holder will be responsible for further developing beyonnex's Enterprise-IoT-Suite and services to ensure a stable and scalable technological foundation for the strategic development of the group of companies. In addition, the following tasks will be part of your position

• Together with an experienced team of software engineers, you develop backend services to operate and monitor millions of IoT devices. 
• You will be involved in every part of the software engineering process and in the lifecycle of the services that your team is building - requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, operations and improving software based on user feedback and usage metrics.
• You will work closely with our product experts and product owners to build the future of smart energy.

We are searching for a motivated candidate with following qualifications:

• Proactive, Problem-Solving Mindset

• Good communication skills and a passion in cross team collaboration 
• Curiosity in learning new technologies and understanding business processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields or comparable education and experience
• Experience in development with Kotlin, Java or similar (JVM) languages 
• Experience with Spring Boot or similar frameworks
• Exposure to SQL or NoSQL database systems
• You are located in Germany
