Job Description
We’re looking for a talented Marketing Automation and Lifecycle leader to join us on a 12-month parental-leave cover. The Senior Manager, Marketing Automation and Lifecycle is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of marketing automation and lifecycle programs, driving customer engagement and business outcomes across B2C and B2B channels. This role manages a high-performing team, responsible for discovering, designing, and delivering personalised journeys across multiple channels.
Role Description
- Lead the Marketing Automation and Lifecycle team, managing the strategy and execution of a busy program of always on journeys and campaigns across email, push, and in-app channels for our B2C and B2B customers.
- Plan, develop, and implement complex automations and journeys within the MA platform, including scoping and overseeing integrations and new feature rollouts
- Own and manage all automation programs, including budgets and reporting.
- Manage a robust optimisation stream, with ongoing testing to maximise customer engagement and business outcomes.
- Ongoing analysis of customer journey and communication touch points to develop and improve CRM and automation activities
- Work closely with internal teams across product, tech, data and marketing to build alignment and deliver cohesive customer experiences.
- Manage the marketing automation Centre of Excellence, setting strategy, standards and best practices for marketing automation across the business.
- Support and develop team members through feedback, mentorship, and growth opportunities.
- Maintain strong knowledge of new developments, channels, and best practices in marketing automation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new MA features, system integration and ongoing maintenance
- Provide hands-on support to the team, including building and creating campaigns in the platform as needed.
Qualifications
What Are We Looking For:
- Experience in a Marketing Automation or Lifecycle leadership role, with proven experience developing digital customer experiences that drive engagement and revenue.
- Strong technical capabilities in all aspects of platform and project management
- Advanced knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRM tools (e.g. Marketo, Responsys, Adobe Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar)
- Proven team leadership and coaching skills, with experience creating inclusive, high-performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate across the organisation.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Communicates strategy and performance clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
