Audit Manager

First National Bank of America is growing and seeking a proactive and organized Audit Manager to join the Internal Audit team. The Audit Manager is a crucial member in leading the Bank’s effort to identify and communicate risks affecting the organization.  Primarily responsible for the management of audit projects as assigned, including project scoping, resource coordination, data collection and analysis, interviewing, review of workpapers, and report writing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
• Provide guidance and training to staff with less experience
• Assist in the management and oversight of outsourced and external audit projects
• Communicates audit results to various stakeholders as necessary
• Ensure follow up reviews on audit report findings are completed
• Assist in the completion of the annual risk assessment
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including the QAIP

Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience that aligns with the job responsibilities will be considered, examples of which may include:
• Prior experience in Financial Services is a plus
• Relevant industry certifications such as CIA, CPA, CISA are a plus
• Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Office and databases
• Strong relationship building skills
• Highly organized
• Prior experience in internal or external auditing
• Experience managing projects from start to finish
• Internal control development, review, or testing
