System administrator (client security)

We are seeking a proactive and skilled System Administrator for Client Security to join our team. In this role, you will be an essential contact for our customers and internal teams, focusing on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of various client security environments. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who enjoys a mix of daily operations, short-term projects, and continuous learning in a dynamic, customer-focused setting.

What You'Ll Do:

A high level of self-organization and self-responsibility is required as your day will vary depending on current tasks and projects. You will be responsible for a mix of daily business, short-term projects, and continuous research.

• Ticket Handling: Independently manage and process tickets, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will be the primary point of contact for customer communication, troubleshooting, and handling support requests.
• Maintenance and Support: Ensure all systems and environments are operational. You will proactively communicate incidents and errors within the team and find solutions to restore service functions quickly and efficiently.
• Projects: Work on short- and medium-term client security projects, participating in meetings with customers, vendors, and project managers. You will need to explain complex technical topics in a simple, understandable manner to various stakeholders.
• Research & Documentation: Stay up-to-date with new vulnerabilities and Microsoft security features (e.g., Microsoft Defender XDR). You will research, test, and document new features, expanding the team's best practices documentation and recording opportunities for improvement.

What We Look For:

We are looking for a dedicated professional with a strong background in client security and the following skills.

Technical Skills:

• Professional experience with Microsoft Security and workplace security.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft operating systems.
• Familiarity with cloud administration of Windows workstation systems and security and compliance services.
• Strong PowerShell skills.

Previous Experience:

• Experience in the client security environment with other antivirus solutions like Trendmicro is highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

• Analytical skills and critical thinking.
• Team player with a conscientious and structured work style.
• Excellent English skills, German language skills are nice to have.
