Industrial Electrician

Responsibilities:

• Wiring: Build electrical panels; wire and test industrial equipment including motors, transformers, power distribution equipment, and input/output devices; and support the installation of relevant equipment in the manufacturing environment.
• System Modifications: Assist with the installation of electrical modifications or upgrades to improve equipment performance and meet evolving production requirements.
• Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in machinery and systems.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaboration: Work with engineers and fabricators to help address electrical issues and support team goals.
• Travel Requirements: The role involves travel to other facilities, up to 20%. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are required.

Experience Or Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an industrial electrician, with a strong preference for experience in an OEM or manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, control circuits, and automation used in industrial machinery.
• Proficient in using a multimeter.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
