Job Description

• Oversee production activities related to Insecticide/Fungicide formulations
• Develop and assign daily tasks and responsibility
• Operate various types of formulating equipment
• Perform routine and non-routine operations safely and efficiently.
• Anticipate potential problems, troubleshoot equipment, and solve problems
• Effectively use safety equipment such as respirators and protective clothing
• Supervise a team of operators on shift
• Leverage manpower and resources to keep processes on cycle time
• Provide feedback and corrective actions when processes during the shift do not meet the cycle time
• Develop the operators’ proficiency and ensure operators are properly trained
• Overall shift unit performance for cycle time and RFT will be a KPI for this role
• Operate a forklift and perform some manual labor
• Work overtime and rotating shifts as required
• Generate and maintain accurate records
• Maintain and improve safety, environmental and housekeeping standards
• RI compliance is a  key accountability of this role

Qualifications

Critical Knowledge

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent

Critical Experience

• Prior formulation, packaging, or quality control experience desired
• Qualified as a Senior Operator in the formulation or packaging unit
• Demonstrated leadership skills in the current role that have directly impacted unit performance in safety, quality, and efficiency
• Extensive experience in IFSC is preferred
