Onboarding Specialist

Montu is seeking a proactive, people-focused Onboarding Specialist with a startup mindset to craft an exceptional welcome experience for every new hire. You’ll guide employees through a smooth, engaging onboarding journey so they feel connected, prepared, and ready to create impact from day one. This role is key to our growth as we build a talented, agile team aligned with our mission.

What You’Ll Do:

Partnering closely with the People & Talent team, you’ll design and deliver an onboarding experience that thrives in a fast-scaling environment. From scheduling and content creation to leading orientation sessions, you’ll ensure every new starter feels confident and inspired.

• Evolve our structured yet flexible onboarding programme to reflect Montu’s innovative culture
• Coordinate schedules, prepare materials and run engaging orientation session
• Be the go-to contact for new hires during their first weeks—answering questions and providing resources for a smooth transition
• Work with team leaders to align onboarding with department goals and business objectives
• Gather feedback and continuously refine the onboarding process to keep pace with rapid growth

What You’Ll Bring:

• Demonstrable experience in a fast-paced startup or high-growth company, with a background in HR, onboarding, or a similar role focused on new employee integration
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and support new hires in a dynamic environment
• Strong organisational skills and adaptability, with the ability to manage multiple onboarding schedules and evolving processes
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills to navigate complex onboarding needs
• Enthusiasm for collaborative work, with a willingness to improve and scale onboarding processes to keep up with company growth
