Job Overview

The ESD Coordinator manages the plant’s ESD control program, ensuring compliance through documentation, training, audits, and equipment calibration. The role also oversees tool and equipment calibration processes, maintaining records and procedures to support operational quality and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements

  • ESD Coordinator
  • • Establish, introduce, implement, and adapt an ESD control program in accordance with the related regulation.
  • • Provision of work instruction and support for creating the documentation required for the ESD control program.
  • • Ensure continuous improvement in the maintenance and development of the defined ESD and control program.
  • • Maintenance of the relevant ESD standards and their implementation
  • • Regular monitoring of the ESD control program through internal audits.
  • • Conduct ESD control training for relevant personnel of the plant.
  • • Monitoring the maintenance and calibration of ESD-relevant measuring and testing devices
  • • Responsible for the coordination and acting as the interface of ESD Quality Management.
  • Tools and Equipment Calibration
  • • Coordinate the submission of items due for calibration.
  • • Evaluates equipment and tools to categorize calibration-required and non-calibration-required equipment.
  • • Maintain all calibration records of all equipment and tools registered under the calibration masterlist.
  • • Maintains and manages the calibration frequency based on a defined calibration calendar.
  • • Create an applicable procedure to ensure full compliance of the plant with the defined/existing calibration procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education, Technical Qualification & Experience
  • • Degree in Engineering or technical field with equivalent engineering experience
  • • With at least 6-7 years (minimum) of working experience in ESD and equipment calibration implementation and controls.
  • • Knowledge and application of core quality tools such as 8D, 7 QC tools, MSA, SPC, FACA, etc.
  • • With a good understanding of QMS standards (ISO 9001:2015, ESD, etc.).
  • • Strong background in problem solving, continuous improvement, process audits, and GD&T (nice to have).
  • Personal Attributes & Competencies
  • • With excellent oral communication and business correspondence writing skills (with good command of the English language)
  • • Strong sense of responsibility, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • • A self-starter can work with minimum supervision.

What Your Background Should Look Like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field or local equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional level experience.
