Job Description
This is an exciting time to join FBL Marketing, as we strengthen our focus on deepening relationships with established clients and expanding our regional business.
As part of the France Marketing Services team, the Senior Manager will be responsible for driving business growth and providing client consultation to identify product and payment marketing opportunities. This role includes developing marketing plans to meet client needs, implementing campaigns, events, and sponsorship activations, and ensuring client satisfaction in the regional segment.
Key objectives include increasing Visa Marketing revenue and demonstrating the value Visa Marketing delivers to clients and cardholders. The client portfolio may include regional financial institutions, fintech companies, co-brand partners, internal stakeholders, colleagues, and strategic relationships.
The regional marketing segment is a growing business within Visa that delivers value through a range of services—from advisory to execution to sponsorships—in close partnership with Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) and our sales teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the evolving payments marketing landscape, experience in credit/debit marketing, and a passion for creating impactful work across all channels. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, strong negotiation and communication skills, a client-focused approach, and a commitment to measurement to demonstrate the value of services provided.
As part of the France Marketing Services Regional team, the Senior Manager will lead marketing activities for a portfolio of clients within the regional issuer segment.
This is a hybrid position. Expectations for in-office days will be confirmed by the hiring manager.
Qualifications
- Experience in marketing, consulting, and strategic partnership development; payments experience preferred
- Strong business and financial acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Proven project management, planning, teamwork, and relationship-building abilities, with experience in leading through influence
- Experience managing creative, experiential, media, and social/digital agency partners
- Ability to create and manage work-back timelines and proactively navigate risks or obstacles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Advanced-level proficiency in PowerPoint
- Languages: French and English
