Summary:

Delinea’s Cybersecurity organization is seeking an experienced Product Security Developer/Engineer to assist in maintaining and maturing an industry-leading Product Security Program. This role is expected to be a key player in maturing Delinea’s Vulnerability Management function and Application Security program.

The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, working alongside Product Development and DevOps teams, to develop capabilities to automate vulnerability management processes and to assist with vulnerability remediation. The candidate must be able to balance the right level of security with business objectives, communicate clearly with technical as well as non-technical audiences, and work to creatively solve complex Product Security related problems. If you’re a software developer with secure software development experience or that is interested in advancing into Product Security, this is the ideal role for you.

This is a hybrid role that is based in Mexico City - Reforma and reports to the Sr. Director of Product Security.

What You'Ll Do:

• Develop scripts and capabilities to automate vulnerability management processes and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely remediation and provide guidance on Vulnerability management best practices
• Gain an understanding of current product security program state and partner with the team to define future state and multi-year roadmaps
• Use knowledge of current software development and product security best practices to advise on the secure design and development of Delinea products and services
• Participate in the maintenance and automation of Product Security tooling (e.g. SAST, SCA, DAST, ASPM)
• Stay up to date on the threat landscape, current technologies, security compliance requirements, standards, and industry trends in order to help achieve cybersecurity’s goals.

What You'Ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, similar related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional work experience in Software Development or Application Security with a preference for experience in Vulnerability Remediation and AppSec tooling (SAST, SCA, DAST, etc.)
• Experience working in one or more common programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, etc.

• Experience In The Following Technologies:

• Defect tracking (Jira, Bugzilla, ServiceNow, or similar)
• Source code management (ADO, GitLab, GitHub, or similar)
• Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines
• Strong communications skills both verbal & written with the ability to describe technical security issues in plain language
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)

We'D Love To See:

• Experience with Application security testing tools (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, or similar)
• Understanding of cloud security technologies including container security, serverless security, network and application security, and access management.
• Proficiency with Azure and AWS
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, Security+, or similar)
