In This Role, You'Ll:

Sydney Trains’ Tangara fleet makes up a quarter of our suburban rail fleet. To ensure its longevity, the Tangara Fleet Life Extension project will upgrade operating systems, modernise onboard passenger information systems, and enhance accessibility features for mobility-impaired passengers. The project will also help build our future workforce capabilities, strengthen local economies and support the long-term growth of NSW’s transportation industry.

In this role, you'll provide high-level admin support and coordination to the Project Delivery Tangara Fleet Life Extension TFLE team, by working collaboratively with project team members and stakeholders, and by coordinating project related information and reporting requirements. You get to be a part of once in a lifetime project.

Work on a unique project that will make a real impact and will provide greater efficiency, more reliability and an uplift of the customer experience for NSW.

This role will see you develop and maintain project schedules and documentation, and deliver procurement activities to ensure that projects are delivered to agree time, cost and quality standards.

Combine coordination with essential administrative responsibilities, thereby ensuring efficient data handling and reporting, accurate documentation, and effective communication across the team. Acting as a central point of contact between Project staff, contractors, and other teams, you play a vital part in maintaining workflow, supporting the Supervisor, and contribute to overall operational efficiency.

Just To List, You Will:

• Provide high level administrative support to the depot team, ensuring smooth daily operations through coordination of meetings, site inductions, procurement receipting, and compliance-related tasks.

• Manage onboarding and related activities. Independently manage and track site inductions for visitors and workers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

• Compile and document information to support the development of reports and documentation, particularly for safety and compliance purposes. Maintain accurate records and registers.

•Deliver professional customer service and onsite support to depot visitors, contractors, and employees, fostering a positive and efficient working environment.

About You

You are a task oriented professional willing to roll up your sleeves and getting the job done. Your strong communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills allow you to connect with individuals at all levels. You have the ability to think critically, adapt, and learn in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Highly organised, you maintain a high degree of accuracy in all tasks. Prior experience in data reporting and managing inductions will be highly regarded. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel is essential to succeed in this role. You will be comfortable working in and around project locations and operational sites.
