Java Application Developer

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Equity Derivatives Scenarios team developing and maintaining an EOD/on-demand scenario and risk system
• The system leverages grid computing across multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Develop, test, and deploy changes following agile methodologies
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams and other application development teams

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of core Java experience, with focus on performance and concurrencyExperience with scripting languages (Python, KSH, Bash) on LinuxKnowledge of grid software (e.g., Symphony, Datasynapse)Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman)Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Advantages

• Knowledge of Git, Gradle
• Familiarity with risk systems
• Understanding of equity derivatives or financial instruments in general
