Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Remote Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data across various platforms and systems. You should have excellent typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and update data in internal databases, spreadsheets, and CRM systems.
- Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain data integrity and follow data quality standards.
- Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
- Generate reports and retrieve data as requested.
- Handle confidential information with integrity.
- Communicate effectively with team members via email or messaging platforms.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certifications a plus.
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles (preferred but not always required).
- Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 40 WPM recommended).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets).
- Familiarity with data entry software, CRMs, or databases is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
- Experience with remote work tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, Trello).
- Basic knowledge of data privacy and protection practices.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexible Hours – Set your own schedule (as long as deadlines are met).
