About The Role
We’re seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our Operations team at Solar Landscape and will be responsible for implementing, managing, and enhancing our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Program across construction sites and owned solar assets.
The EHS Manager will maintain a strong field presence—conducting jobsite inspections, overseeing training and compliance, leading incident investigations, and driving continuous improvement. This role partners closely with field teams, project managers, and leadership to ensure a safe, compliant, and injury-free work environment in line with OSHA and company standards.

About The Role

This role partners closely with field teams, project managers, and leadership to ensure a safe, compliant, and injury-free work environment in line with OSHA and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Director of EHS on all safety-related matters.
- Foster and maintain a strong, proactive safety culture across internal teams and subcontractors.
- Implement and enforce corporate safety policies and procedures, including Site-Specific Health and Safety Plans, safety observations, incident investigations, and training programs.
- Conduct pre-mobilization safety assessments to identify and address potential risks.
- Manage on-site safety for multiple active construction projects.
- Work independently in the field, ensuring consistent application of safety protocols.
- Serve as the primary safety liaison between Solar Landscape and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site visits to build relationships with project teams and subcontractors, identify safety gaps, perform audits, and provide actionable feedback.
- Clearly communicate the business value of a strong EHS program to stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Ability to lead independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. and accessing rooftops using ladders or stair towers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak confidently in front of groups.
- Experience developing and delivering safety training programs.
- Knowledgeable in current health and safety regulations, practices, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Skilled in evaluating potential physical hazards and implementing effective controls.
- Ability to stay up to date on evolving safety laws, codes, and compliance requirements.
