Connecting And Enriching Conversational And Contact Center Data For Improved Customer And Agent Experience
Our team has established robust foundations for integrating with third-party contact center systems. Now, we're expanding our efforts to develop foundational services that connect, enrich, and process conversational data. This work aims to bring all relevant call data into the Invoca platform (including external calls), surface key insights on the caller journey for agents, and scale the core systems and pipelines handling conversational data. Our objective is to make this data accessible and valuable across the Invoca ecosystem, delivering a more efficient and accurate experience for both agents and customers.
About The Engineering Team

Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, you'll find a supportive team that collaborates to solve problems and provides constructive feedback for mutual growth. In This Role, You Will:
- Take ownership of small-to-medium features from technical design through to launch.
- Work collaboratively with your team to define, break down, and prioritize tasks.
- Focus on developing high-quality solutions without sacrificing productivity, making consistent progress on assigned tasks.
- Consider scalability, testability, supportability, observability, and maintainability in your approach, writing code that incorporates these principles with guidance from experienced engineers.
- Diagnose production issues (with verification from other team members) and contribute to suggesting solutions. Your initial problem descriptions will often be actionable, and you'll refine them with feedback. You'll communicate effectively within the team and grow your ability to communicate externally.
- Build effective and collaborative working relationships with your team members.
- Actively support diversity, equity, and inclusion at Invoca.
We'Re Looking For Candidates Who Bring:
- Experience with some of our primary technologies: Ruby on Rails (or similar), MySQL/PostgreSQL, and HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- The ability to quickly learn new skills and make significant progress on tasks.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to gracefully deliver and receive feedback from peers and managers.
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.
This role is remote and open to candidates located in the United States and Canada only. Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

- Position Base Range - Salary Range $102,500 - $145,500/year plus bonus potential
