The Behavior Signals team's role is to “Provide definitive, early, dense signals to accelerate onboard software development”. Our leverages ML and non-ML tools in conjunction with statistical methods, real world and simulated data to stand up workflows aiming to evaluate the behavior of the Waymo Driver.

You Will:

• Develop eval signals and understand the pain points during eval developments
• Design data processing engine to process and aggregate labels
• Design and implement pipeline to streamline the metric change validation pipelines

You Have:

• Navigating and modifying a large code base containing a variety of languages, such as C++, Python and SQL
• Building Data processing pipelines

We Prefer:

• Experience coding in C++
• Experience building and validating metrics to measure quality in complex systems
• Exposure to ad-hoc data analysis tools for rapid modeling and prototyping

The expected hourly rate for this full-time position is listed below. Interns are also eligible to participate in the Company’s generous benefits programs, subject to eligibility requirements.Hourly Masters Pay$50.49—$50.49 USD
