Role Overview

The DevOps Engineer role is part of the Certification Team, responsible for developing and maintaining a large-scale automated test framework that integrates virtual machines, networks, and code solutions to support end-to-end integration testing of 15+ applications.

This environment acts as a comprehensive testing platform used to validate system functionality, performance, and stability.

Technology Stack

• OS & Virtualization: Windows Virtual Machines 
• Programming: Python 3 
• Database: MSSQL 
• Version Control: Git 
• Deployment & Automation: Chef, Octopus 
• Web & APIs: REST 
• Provision and manage Windows virtual servers (create/remove VMs, work with images/clones). 
• Configure firewalls, Active Directory, and virtual networks. 

Responsibilities

Virtual Infrastructure Management

• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows-based system issues. 

Software Development (Python)

• Develop CLI utilities, web services, and automation tools in Python 3. 
• Create REST API clients and contribute to the automated testing framework. 

Database Administration

• Manage MSSQL Server including backups, restores, and basic administration. 
• Write and execute SQL queries and stored procedures. 

Ci/Cd And Automation

• Support and maintain Chef scripts (Ruby-based) for VM configuration. 
• Manage deployment workflows in Octopus, troubleshoot issues, and update processes. 

 Test Automation & Framework Development

• Design, implement, and maintain automated integration tests using Python & SQL. 
• Extend and enhance the test automation framework. 
• Document system components, processes, and test results. 
• Firewall and network configuration. 
• Windows debugging and troubleshooting 
• Strong knowledge of modern Python (3.6–3.12) features, including type annotations 
• Solid understanding of OOP, code style (PEP8) 
• Experience with key libraries: asyncio, requests, Flask/FastAPI, Selenium, pydantic Libraries: asyncio, requests, Flask/FastAPI, Selenium, pydantic.

• Windows Administration:

• Active Directory Basics.

• Python 3 Development

• Git

• Familiarity with Git flow 
• Branching, pull requests, conflict resolution 

• Sql

• Strong Sql Fundamentals

• Rest

• Understanding of HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, etc.) 

• Intermediate English Level

Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Programming In C#

• Scripting With Powershell

• Experience with Regex or XPath 
• Experience with Chef and/or Octopus/Jenkins 
• Domain knowledge in Finance/Trading
