Position Summary

Lead and own the full P&L of China Pump Business, accountable for both strategic marketing direction and end-to-end sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Business Planning
• Translate China pump-market insights into a 3–5-year growth strategy, brand positioning and annual business plan.
• Define and cascade sales targets (revenue, profit, share, channel coverage) with measurable KPIs. Sales Leadership & Execution
• Lead, coach and hold accountable a dedicated pump sales team to exceed quarterly and annual sales goals.
• Personally manage top-20 key accounts and high-value negotiations to accelerate pump penetration. Channel & Distribution Expansion
• Design and implement a multi-channel strategy (hospital direct, distributors, e-commerce, retail pharmacy).
• Build a scalable distributor network: establish criteria, contracts, training, incentives and exit mechanisms. Marketing & Promotion Excellence
• Orchestrate nationwide product launches, congress symposia, digital campaigns and patient-education programs.
• Leverage KOLs, medical societies and third-party partners to maximize clinical endorsement and pull-through. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Act as the single point of contact for the pump business, aligning RA, Clinical, Medical Affairs, Supply Chain and external agencies to ensure seamless product registration, supply and campaign execution. Compliance & Risk Management
• Make sure all the actions are compliance and follow embecta policies and standard while maintaining professional standards and performance. Complete any tasks assigned by the manager or company.

Skills And Abilities

  1. Full-time bachelor’s degree or above, major in clinical medicine and related, master's degree is preferred.
  2. Above 10 years progressive sales & sales-management experience in medical devices/consumables, including ≥6 years focused on pumps (insulin, analgesic, infusion, etc.) or other high-value disposables.
  3. Strong learning ability, logical thinking ability, clearly target marketing sensitivity and analysis ability.
  4. Good in interpersonal skill and communication; and adaption to frequent business trips.

5.Good in English (both oral & written).

Working conditions & environment

Business travel required. Travel Frequency > 75%
