Autodesk Japan is seeking an experienced Team Manager to strengthen process consistency, compliance, and consulting capability within our growing team. This leadership role is crucial for embedding operational rigour, fostering customer-centric skills, and bridging the gap between leadership intent and frontline execution.
Responsibilities
- Strengthening Process and Consistency
- Design and oversee a structured onboarding program for new team members
- Develop and implement standardised frameworks to guide process execution, ensuring operational efficiency and quality assurance
- Provide ongoing guidance to ensure consistent engagement and alignment across customer projects
Addressing Compliance Risks
- Deliver ongoing training and regular knowledge testing to maintain high standards of policy adherence
- Monitor and report on compliance metrics, proactively mitigating risks and breaches
- Building Consulting and Customer-Centric Skills
- Coach and upskill team members in consulting soft skills to better engage with customers.
- Support the team in understanding and anticipating customer needs, leading to improved satisfaction and stronger renewal conversations.
- Drive a culture of continuous learning and capability building
- Supporting the Management Layer
- Bridge the gap in institutional knowledge and customer context within the Japan team
- Act as a stabilising influence and multiplier, embedding policies and practices into daily operations
- Accelerate organisational maturity by aligning team execution with leadership goals
Expected Outcomes
- Reduction in compliance risks and breaches through proactive oversight.
- Faster ramp-up time for new hires via structured onboarding and training.
- Increased consulting capability and customer understanding across the team.
- Strengthened customer relationships, leading to higher renewals and expansion opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience in team leadership, preferably within consulting or customer-facing environments
- Strong understanding of compliance, process management, and operational best practices
- Exceptional coaching and people development skills, with a focus on consulting and customer-centricity
- Ability to build trust, drive change, and influence outcomes across diverse teams
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese are required
