25WD92159Responsibilities: Design customized solutions for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction/Manufacturing products integrated with customer needs. Create customized and configured solutions on top of Autodesk core products in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction/Manufacturing domain. Work with customers to determine breadth and depth of Enterprise Application integration needs. Analyze Customer requirements and contribute to the configuration of Autodesk products accordingly. Produce written specifications to capture our requirements for proposed solutions and configuration activities. Work individually and with internal team members to develop level of effort estimations. Work with internal resourcing managers to establish work plans for projects for self and supporting team members. Develop system architecture, detailing system design, and documenting implementation plans. Participate in all phases of software implementation projects. Identify our requirements, functional design, process design (workflow mapping) testing and training. Contribute to Autodesk IP and assets through methods development and sales collateral. Lead training and adoption efforts for customers. Work with team to identify process and technology improvement areas to enable team to better meet customer needs and scale. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a software/structural engineer-related occupation. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States. Telecommuting is permitted.
Special Requirements: Position requires at least 3 years of experience in each of the following skills:
- Developing APIs, Extract, Transformation, Load (ETL) data pipelines, and data validation in a commercial environment, using version control technologies including Git and SVN.
- Preparing and understanding drawing sets and/or calculation reports based on engineering processes, industry structure, and collaborative workflows within the AEC sector.
- Designing buildings with a focus on sustainable construction, emphasizing the efficient use of energy and materials.
- Conducting structural analysis using FEM software and employing construction management platforms to coordinate project activities and manage construction execution.
Position requires at least 2 years of experience in each of the following skills:
- Developing applications using server-side technologies such as NodeJS and ASP.net, along with full-stack frameworks and tools (React/Vue/Angular, Django, Express.JS, Next.JS), package management solutions (NPM, Yarn), module building systems (Webpack), and testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha)
- Working with SQL, NoSQL, and graph databases (SQLite, MongoDB, Neptune), utilizing JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS, Python, and C#
- Producing written specifications to capture requirements for proposed solutions, developing task lists for each phase, and documenting implementation plans.
- Utilizing AI/ML technologies (Tensorflow, PyTorch, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML Studio) and data management and governance strategies to address challenges in the AEC industry
- Developing web-based data visualization, Internet of Things (IoT) integrations, and Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality applications using C# and game engines
- Utilizing AEC-focused products including Revit and AutoCAD along with their .NET APIs and identify opportunities for improvement in design workflows and automations

Salary Transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $155,522 - $176,300 / per year. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
