Advanced Products & Solutions (APS), a Strategic Business Unit within Raytheon, has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to support the Advanced Fighter Systems (AFS) Product Line. This role is a high-visibility opportunity supporting several strategic cost-plus programs, several large internal investment efforts (IRAD & Capital), and various ongoing competitive proposals. This role will support each of the functions within AFS, including Program Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing Operations. Some program responsibilities can be done in an unclassified environment; however, many strategic deliverables will require a secret clearance.   

This role will manage a strategic portfolio of business and supervise multiple junior analysts as the organization continues to grow.

This position is an integral part of a fast paced, high performing finance team where strategic tactical thinking, multitasking and personal initiative are key requirements. The effective candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all assignments are prioritized and completed on schedule with adequate time allotted for management review. These programs require the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to the program team.

What You Will Do

  • Responsibilities of portfolio management will include cost/schedule control and analysis (EVMS) through monthly IPMDAR submittals, Quarterly Estimate-at-Completions (EACs), variance analysis, forecasting, risk management, and various levels of reporting both internally and externally.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related topic
  • Typically requires 5+ years finance work experience; OR an Advanced degree and 3+ years prior relevant experience
  • Financial controls experience relative to multiple contract types.
  • Experience with SAP transactions.
  • Experience presenting complex information to all levels of the organization and external parties such as audit agencies (DCAA/DCMA).

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Familiarity with Raytheon EVMS and DOD EVMS Standard Procedures.
  • Ability to quickly understand and utilize business information systems.

  • Proactive, creative, and innovative in solving problems and issues.
  • Demonstrate strong financial analysis abilities.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision. Participates in determining objectives of assignment plans; arranges and schedules own activities in accomplishing objectives after training period.
  • Ability to provide guidance in instructing and motivating personnel toward common finance goals by setting priorities and working within deadlines.
  • Experience in communicating financial concepts, trends and variances to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and guide daily tasks, meet deadlines, analyze, provide results and recommend solutions to various levels of organization.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Excellent personal computer skills including a high level of proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
