Project Management Internship: Project Management Internship: Strategy and Operations Support

Introduction

The IT Solution Delivery Operations team at ASML supports both strategic planning and operational execution across multiple sectors. This includes orchestrating meetings and strategic offsites, maintaining departmental communication channels such as SharePoint, and supporting leadership in decision-making processes. As part of this team, you will be closely involved in managing communication flows, tracking progress, and supporting strategic initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in stakeholder management, strategy execution, and project coordination within a dynamic and international environment.
 

Your Assignment

You will support the Chief of Staff and the IT Solution Delivery Operations team in executing strategic initiatives and improving internal communication and planning. Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct research and data analysis to inform strategic decision-making;
• Prepare presentations, reports, and summaries of meetings and communications;
• Maintain and update the department calendar, communication calendar, and SharePoint site.
• Support monthly strategic offsite planning and follow-up.
• Manage action and decision logs, and critically assess project outcomes.
• Collaborate with project leads across six departments to gather insights and support execution.

Your Profile

To be a perfect fit for this assignment, you.

• Are pursuing a Master’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Have a strong interest in information technology and strategic planning.
• Possess excellent communication and organizational skills in English.
• Are skilled in stakeholder management and comfortable engaging with various departments and leadership teams.
• Are proactive, analytical, and eager to contribute to strategic discussions.

This is a master’s internship with a minimum duration of 5 months. Students are expected to be available at least 4 days per week, including 3 days on-site in Veldhoven. The internship is set to start in February 2026, but we are open to candidates who are available to start earlier.

Other requirements you need to meet

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship; 
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate. 
• If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
