Position Summary
The Supply Chain Data Analytics Engineer will design, build, and optimize data solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across all supply chain functions. This role partners with Sourcing & Procurement, SIOP, Logistics, and Customer Fulfillment teams to ensure robust analytics, actionable insights, and process automation.
Key Responsibilities
Sourcing & Procurement
- Map, analyze, and document data sources and KPIs related to supplier performance, cost optimization, and procurement cycle times.
- Develop dashboards and automated reports to monitor sourcing effectiveness, compliance, and risk.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to harmonize KPI definitions and ensure data consistency across regions and categories.
SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning)
- Integrate data from sales, inventory, and operations to support demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and scenario planning.
- Build and maintain data pipelines that enable real-time visibility into SIOP metrics.
- Support the SIOP process with advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and simulation tools.
Logistics
- Design and implement analytics solutions to track logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, and warehouse efficiency.
- Automate logistics reporting and alerting using tools like Power Automate and Python.
- Ensure data quality and integrity for logistics operations, collaborating with IT and logistics partners.
Customer Fulfillment
- Develop data models and dashboards to monitor order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and service levels.
- Analyze fulfillment data to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
- Support customer-centric initiatives by providing actionable insights from fulfillment data.
Cross-Functional Responsibilities
- Act as a facilitator between supply chain teams and IT/Data Architecture to align data requirements and solutions.
- Ensure data governance, integrity, and security across all supply chain analytics initiatives.
- Communicate technical findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.
- Drive analytics adoption and data literacy within all supply chain functions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in data analytics within supply chain, procurement, logistics, or related fields.
- Advanced knowledge of statistics, data modeling, and business intelligence.
- Proficiency in Power BI (including DAX and data modeling), Power Automate, and Python.
- Strong critical thinking, creativity, and results orientation.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
- Excellent communication skills for translating technical insights to business stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Data Storytelling.
- Advanced English, Portuguese is desired.
