Seeking a highly experienced Program Manager (PM) that will be responsible for planning and oversight of multiple, complex, strategic capital programs. The NPHS PM facilitates communication among a cross-functional team including corporate real estate, construction, operations, engineering, validations, quality, health physics, finance, sourcing and other key teams to deliver PET manufacturing and pharmacy locations in the U.S.

Job Summary

The Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions Program Manager, NPHS PM, is responsible for managing the execution of inter-connected projects that are managed as a program. The NPHS PM focuses on program strategy, project delegation and implementation. They work within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes and methodologies. The NPHS PM’s programs are tied to critical organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Achieves on time, on budget delivery of strategic, capital programs with aggressive timelines
  • Connects program objectives to broader organizational goals. Connects short-term demands to long-term implications, in alignment with the supporting business case
  • Applies knowledge of the project management initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing processes
  • Effectively documents scope, estimated cost, and creates a detailed schedule for large, complex, cross-functional projects and programs
  • Organizes project teams, establishes project schedules and individual responsibilities, and determines resource requirements 
  • Ensures effective, nimble controls are in place to manage risks, issues, changes, decisions, cost, resources, and schedule  
  • Creatively solves problems with stakeholders when challenges occur
  • Ensures team is successful by addressing workload priorities, removing obstacles, facilitating issue resolution. Negotiates with stakeholders to obtain the resources necessary for successful execution
  • Monitors performance and influences appropriate scope, schedule, cost or resource adjustments
  • ​Facilitates prioritization in order to minimize impact of high-demand resources having competing deadlines   
  • Works within the constraints of budget, schedule and scope, while managing risk and ensuring adherence to established processes. Collaborates with leadership and finance to pursue additional funding, as appropriate
  • Ensures equipment and vendors are selected. Reviews vendor contracts to ensure completeness of scope, requirements and ensuring vendors deliver on time and on budget. Orchestrates and monitors purchase orders
  • Optimally plans equipment delivery date, installation and qualification  
  • Shares long-term plans for equipment purchases with sourcing for strategic planning. Collaborates with Global Trade on import planning
  • Provides periodic and summary reports on the status of program health, timing, risks, issues and resources to leadership and stakeholders
  • Shares monthly forecast with finance. Collaborates with NPHS leadership to achieve each fiscal year capital budget goals
  • Collaborates with finance and operations to ensure assets are placed in service at required time, with accurate, comprehensive information
  • Ensures adherence to quality standards and Cardinal Health policies
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Travels up to 15% as per business need

Qualifications

  • 8-12 years of experience, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proven successful program management experience 2 years
  • Demonstrates knowledge of capital planning
  • Ability to influence without authority
  • Acts with sense of urgency and desire to improve experiences for our customers and business partners
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to tailor communication with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership
  • Sophisticated problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in highly regulated environment a plus
  • Experience with supplier relationship management a plus
  • Experience in healthcare, radiopharmaceuticals or pharmaceutical industry a plus
  • Understanding of cGMP manufacturing environment a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, as needed

Anticipated salary range:  $105,100 - $150,100
