We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Product Support Engineer to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for providing technical support for our customer-facing diagnostic tools used with LC hardware, as well as for the LC Drivers integrated with Agilent Chromatography Data Systems (CDS). The position will also involve supporting our Assist Hub Hardware and contributing to the development and testing of the Assist Control Software.​

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Provide expert technical support for software tools and user interfaces, including Assist Hub hardware and Assist Control software.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive user documentation and deliver technical training to Agilent’s technical support teams.
  • Contribute to the definition, development, and testing of new features within the Assist Control software.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Service Organization to gather and integrate feedback from Field Service Engineers and end users into product improvements.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware and software issues reported by customers and field personnel.
  • Document product issues, propose enhancements, and communicate effectively with the software development team to ensure timely resolution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience supporting HPLC hardware and software in a technical or customer support role.
  • Strong understanding of Agilent LC software tools and user interfaces used in customer-facing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with software development and testing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to approach challenges from the end-user's perspective to ensure practical, user-friendly solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Capable of working independently as well as effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Jira or similar issue tracking/project management tools.
  • Familiarity with Agilent LC hardware, particularly the latest-generation systems.
  • Prior experience working directly with customers and technical service teams in a support capacity.
