About The Role:
The Credit Control Analyst is responsible for the cash collection process, has a supporting role in operational control, managing customer trade terms and to the company’s working capital performance.
The Credit Control team consists of 7 Credit Controllers, 1 Team Lead/Credit Controller and 1 Credit Control Coordinator reporting to the Senior International Manager Credit Control. These positions are mainly centralized in Amsterdam, partly based in the local sales region in France and UK. Customer Master Maintenance and Cash Reconciliation are centralized tasks in the Hungary Shared Service Center over which the Credit Control Manager holds functional responsibility.
What You Will Do:
- Credit Control, involving managing AR account balances, dispute management, dunning and monitoring and maintaining DSO ratios.
- Monitoring current personal and departmental work processes according to Global guidelines.
- Maintenance of an accurate rebate program and process.
- Customer relation management by timely account reconciliation and administrative support with customer accounts.
- Customer Master data and Credit Management master data management.
- Manage Process efficiency and effectiveness according to company compliance rules.
- Actively drive results improvement, manage improvement projects.
- Providing standard and ad hoc reporting to management, accounts, sales division and corporate RA.
- Projects, long term and ad-hoc. Driving and initiate projects both department or inter-departmental.
- Daily interaction with stakeholders on different levels within the company but as well outside.
What You Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of Credit Control experience preferably in international environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a commercial environment, representing the finance function.
- Fluency in French and English. Additional languages like Dutch, German or Spanish are beneficial.
