Overview:

The EHS, QC, and Facilities Leader ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and quality programs at the Florida Service Center. This role manages projects related to EHS, quality control, and facility maintenance, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and maintain all EHS programs in alignment with KSB GIW, Inc. policies and Florida regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits, track employee training, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Manage quality control processes, inspections, ISO documentation, and controlled records.
  • Oversee facility upkeep and identify operational and capital improvement needs.
  • Prepare and review job quotes, coordinate project schedules, and manage workflow through ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide training, mentorship, and support to employees as needed.
  • Serve on the Safety Committee and assist with implementation of initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Preferred: Two-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Alternative: Two-year degree in a technical or mechanical field with 3–5 years of industrial or service experience.

Experience:

  • 5–8 years of industrial experience with pumps, rotating equipment, and mechanical drawings.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), ISO documentation, and audits.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or German) preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently: Lifting up to 70 lbs., bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, kneeling; wearing respirator when required.
  • Occasionally: Other physical activity as needed based on job assignments.
