The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

•  Having 7+ years of experience in infrastructure delivery and cloud operations. 
• Strong expertise in AWS and Azure cloud platforms (administration, monitoring, optimization). 
• Proven ability to manage datacenter and cloud technologies in enterprise environments. 
• Hands-on experience in infrastructure support, incident, problem, and change management. 
• Strong leadership skills to monitor team activities and ensure operational discipline. 
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer relationship skills. 
• Strong knowledge of capacity management and asset lifecycle processes.  
• Lead day-to-day infrastructure operations, support, and maintenance services across AWS, Azure, and on-prem systems. 
• Ensure adherence to established operational guidelines, compliance standards, and management practices. 
• Coordinate with various departments to integrate critical systems into infrastructure. 
• Oversee timely execution and closure of change requests (RFCs). 
• Monitor and govern all activities related to team responsibilities, ensuring SLA compliance. 
• Maintain strong customer focus by ensuring optimal client satisfaction across all service areas. 
• Develop and maintain effective relationships with IT relationship managers and customer stakeholders. 
• Maintain expert knowledge of business processes related to asset and capacity management. 
• Oversee allocation and utilization of functional resources to support business growth. 
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly review meetings with customer stakeholders. 
• Ensure timely preparation, submission, and review of SLA and performance reports. 

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience:

• Knowledge of automation tools and frameworks for cloud and infrastructure operations. 
• Experience with hybrid cloud integration (on-premises with AWS/Azure). 
• Certification in AWS, Azure, or ITIL will be an added advantage.
