Product Support EngineerJob Description Summary
The Product Support Engineer is a key member of the Global Deployment Specialists team, responsible for installing, configuring, and providing technical support for hardware solutions across diverse environments. This role ensures that deployed equipment operates reliably, meets performance standards, and delivers a seamless experience for customers.
In This Role You Will:
- Possess the necessary technical/functional knowledge and experience in electronics, IT, and electromechanics.
- Knowledge of diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Amadeus's business and how it relates to your area.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proactive, responsible, and flexible.
- Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing various sources of information.
- Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from the manager.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Install and configure hardware, perform hardware tests, and ensure proper operation.
- Install Windows, configure Windows settings, and install firmwares.
- Implement company-specific technology solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues with equipment and systems.
- Provide technical training to users/customers and support and maintenance staff.
- Provide post-installation technical support and UAT.
- Collaborate with internal teams.
About The Ideal Candidate:
- Solid background in electronics, IT, and electromechanics.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostics, troubleshooting, and hardware/software integration.
- Experience with Windows installation, configuration, and firmware updates.
- Ability to implement and support company-specific technology solutions.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to deliver technical training and clear guidance to end-users and support staff.
- Willingness and availability to travel extensively.
