The Role: Engineer II, Quality Engineering, APS 

We are seeking a dynamic Quality Engineer to provide a role to control the quality of APS division at Jangan Plant.  

Jangan Plant APS Division manufactures GPS, Nowpak and Blow Molding.  

In this role you will report to Regional Manager of Quality Engineering and your primary responsibility will be to control quality systems to improve quality, Internal/Customer Audit, and coordinate/lead any quality issues to solve quality problems. You must be able to work with Entegris global plant colleagues and be required to work with internal and external customers. You will have the interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships with both internal customers and external customers to enable more effective quality management and improvement of quality performance. 

In This Role You Will:

• Participate in varying levels of engagement with customers and company teams’ problem solving, change management, customer and internal audit, project development, product support and development programs as well as many other cross-functional tasks and projects that are aligned with Entegris and Customer goals. 
• Be part of a global team that is designed to improve success of Entegris with our customer 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at varying levels and varying degrees of complexity across a vast range of products, regions and companies. 

Traits we believe make a strong candidate: 

• 4 Year Degree (B.S) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Engineering 
• The candidate should demonstrate a technical understanding of chemical manufacturing or plastic/metal fabrication manufacturing and should have deep understanding about semiconductor customers’ expectations 
• Direct experience with quality systems and customer quality engineering 
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in chemical manufacturing, plastic fabrication, semiconductor manufacturing or related industry 
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally, total travel up to 30% 
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills 
• Ability to work independently having strong organizational skills 
• Strong project management and leadership skills 
• Must have expert knowledge of quality techniques(8D, DMAIC, SPC, 6Sigma) for problem solving and improvement 
• Ability to collaborate with cross functional department 
• Ability to communicate fluently in Korean and English 
• Highly motivated and committed to continuous learning; Ability to rapidly switch focus and be adaptable to change. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows environment - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft office 365.
