Job Description
Ready to take the reins of Content Operations within Digital Consumer Engagement? We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Content Operations Manager to lead our cross-audience team in simplifying and supercharging our content planning, production, and publishing efforts.
You’ll be heading up a team comprised of a mixture of full-time colleagues, student workers and external resources. You’ll also be an important part of the leadership team of Content & Editorial where you’ll ensure transparency across our owned ecosystem (LEGO.com, LEGO Ideas, kids.LEGO.com, LEGO Play App and more!) and drive efficiencies that make a real impact.
This is your opportunity to collaborate with diverse audiences - from kids to adults - and support innovation in our multi-platform content strategies.
We're pleased to offer a hybrid working week arrangement called Best of Both, requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead Production & Publishing Efficiencies: From initial scope to publication, you and your team will facilitate scope-of-work agreements between internal and external vendors, co-develop production plans, manage publishing backlogs, and track deliverables.
- Ensure Content Transparency & Data Accuracy: Create and curate toolboxes to guarantee data accuracy and transparency of all activities across our owned ecosystem, utilizing visualization tools and dashboards.
- Manage Budgets & Partnerships: Leverage data sets and tools to align with our production, translation, and publishing partners regarding budgets and workload, ensuring smooth operations.
- Champion Cross-Audience Collaboration: Work closely with team members who focus on both kids and grown-ups content, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation.
- Inspire and Develop Team Capability: Lead, coach, and collaborate with your team to build skills and promote a culture of excellence.
Do you have what it takes?
- Content Operations Expertise: Strong understanding of content production processes and digital publishing, ideally with experience in managing small, but impactful, cross-functional teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement Skills: Proven ability to engage and influence partners across various functions, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
- Analytical & Data-Driven Mindset: Comfortable working with data visualization tools and dashboards to guide decision-making and improve performance.
- Proactive Problem Solver: Ability to identify challenges and implement practical solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
- Inclusive & Collaborative Approach: A champion for diversity of thought, fostering an environment where all voices are heard and valued.
