The Position

We are seeking a passionate People & Culture Advisor to join our Sydney office, supporting the firm across all offices. You will be responsible for providing timely and practical human resources support and advice to partners, managers, and staff, working alongside the Head of P&C and P&C Coordinator/Assistant.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • leading end-to-end recruitment across the firm, growing the talent pipeline, and building strong relationships with universities, professional associations and external partners
  • managing the early careers program including clerkships, graduate recruitment and associated development initiatives
  • supporting induction and orientation programs and coordinating the firm’s learning and development activities, alongside the firm's learning & development coordinator
  • partnering with the Head of P&C, CEO and partners on remuneration and reward programs including annual reviews, bonuses and market benchmarking
  • proactively supporting the firm’s diversity, inclusion and belonging initiatives and participating in relevant committees
  • analysing and maintaining people data, preparing reports and overseeing HRIS and associated HR programs
  • leading and supporting people projects and change initiatives, including communications and engagement activities
  • coordinating WHS initiatives, reporting and training to maintain a safe and compliant workplace
  • driving continuous improvement and recommending more efficient ways of working.

Skills And Experience

To be successful in this role you will have 2+ years' experience in a similar Advisor role, preferably in a professional services environment. You will have demonstrated experience in a generalist HR position, facilitating initiatives across the employee lifecycle.

You have a passion for continuous improvement, and you embrace change. Your eye for detail is exceptional as well as your time management, planning and organisational skills. You have a proactive, positive and responsive “can do” approach, with the ability to learn/pick up things quickly. Your stakeholder management is top notch, you have highly developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with key stakeholders.
