Job Description & Summary

he Purchasing team represents the back office for in-country purchasing and it plays an essential role verifying the purchase requisitions, creating and sending via email the Purchase Orders, submitting GRNs and providing various reports. 

What Will Be Your Responsibilities?

  • Receives requests for Purchase Requisitions from various requestors and reviews forms for completeness and acts on those found deficient. 
  • Reviews existing Purchase Requisitions to verify accuracy and ensure updates are properly authorized and entered.  
  • Takes action as appropriate to correct and update data or identify problem situations or resolve escalated issues 
  • Follows Procurement's policies and procedures for reviewing incoming requests in the internal ticketing tool 
  • Uses supplier contracts as a base for assessing the eligibility and business justification of requested Purchase Requisitions 
  • Reviews existing Purchase Orders and Good Receipt Notes to verify accuracy and ensure updates are properly authorized and entered. 
  • Provides reporting to demonstrate coverage of POs in respective countries and department objectives particularly in decreasing retrospectively created POs 
  • Communicates with clients, superiors and other work team members 
  • Performs other tasks in line with the superior´s instructions. 

What We Look For

  • Fluent English spoken and written (B2) 
  • Ability to gather, relate and summarize information into logical conclusions 
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to interact with internal customers and suppliers 
  • Ability to perform data entry and retrieval on various business systems and the internet 
  • Requires computer skills with Microsoft Office and ability to use business systems software 
  • Self-motivated, reliable and dependability are essential 
  • Team Player
