Role Summary:

As a Payroll Administrator at Black Cat Civil, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of weekly wages for our growing team. Based in our Nambour head office, you will contribute to the efficiency of our operations by managing payroll functions and supporting our commitment to delivering value for our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional development within a supportive and dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Collate and process weekly wages payroll accurately and efficiently.
  • Interpret and apply industrial relations tools, including awards, agreements, and legislation.
  • Set up new employee records and maintain updates within the payroll system.
  • Prepare end-of-month reporting and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Conduct statement reconciliations to ensure accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Register invoices related to payroll and maintain organized records.
  • Working some public holidays that align with payroll processing will be required as part of this role.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in administration or payroll processing is highly regarded.
  • Recent graduates in accounting or Human Resources are encouraged to apply.
  • Demonstrated experience in high-volume data entry positions with a focus on accuracy.
  • Prior experience in the construction industry and familiarity with systems such as CHEOPS is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive demeanor, with a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
