Senior Full Stack Developer - Uruguay

Description

We’re seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our office in Uruguay. You’ll own features end-to-end across frontend and backend, collaborating closely with product and design to ship high-quality user experiences.

What You’Ll Do

Design, build, and maintain responsive web applications and reusable UI components (e.g., React/Next.js + TypeScript).

Implement and evolve APIs and server logic (Node.js/Python) that power our apps.

Work closely with product, design, and analytics to scope, deliver, and iterate on features.

Ensure performance, accessibility, reliability, and security across client and server.

Write automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) and maintain healthy CI/CD pipelines.

Monitor production (logging/metrics/alerts), troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvements.

Contribute to architectural discussions for both frontend and backend, keeping things simple and scalable.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience delivering production web applications end-to-end.
• Strong frontend skills: React (or similar), TypeScript/JavaScript, modern CSS , state management.
• Solid server-side skills: Node.js, Python, REST, authentication/authorization patterns.
• Proficiency with databases (MySQL) and familiarity with Redshift; comfort with data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure), containers (Docker), and CI/CD.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning skills across the stack.
• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams.
• Self-directed, collaborative, and product-minded.

Next.js (SSR/SSG), SEO and Web Vitals, edge runtimes/CDN (e.g., Cloudflare Workers).

Elasticsearch and/or event streaming (Kafka), big-data pipelines
