Basic Function
As the Vice President of Channel and Partnership Development, you will lead Primax’s go-to-market strategy for core banking and payments solutions, driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and direct sales to financial institutions. This executive-level role is responsible for expanding our footprint in the community banking ecosystem by cultivating high-impact relationships. and financial institutions. You will oversee the full sales lifecycle, from market strategy and partner engagement to contract execution and go-to-market planning—while mentoring a high-performing sales team and collaborating cross-functionally across the organization.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Build and execute the national sales strategy for core banking and payments solutions.
- Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with financial institutions and strategic partners.
- Lead forecasting, pipeline development, and performance tracking to meet or exceed annual revenue targets for core sales.
- Partnership Development
- Build and manage strategic relationships with core banking vendors and technology partners.
- Oversee the end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including outreach, negotiation, onboarding, and go-to-market execution.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (product, legal, compliance, marketing) to align partnership goals with business objectives.
- Market Expansion & Brand Positioning
- Represent Primax at industry events, conferences, and state league meetings to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to financial institutions, offering tailored solutions that address their evolving needs.
- Operational Excellence
- Ensure seamless handoff of new clients to account management teams for long-term relationship success.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide executive-level reporting on sales performance and market trends.
- Stay current on industry regulations, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.
