Academic Level A, base salary $113,400 p.a. + 17% superannuation 

About The Opportunity

The Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join its dynamic team. This appointment is funded by The Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning.  

The position will support and advance a strategic initiative in housing research in The Sydney School of Architecture, Design and Planning. This will involve working with senior housing researchers to undertake a range of research tasks, researcher skills and capacities mapping, project management and development, and primary research writing. 

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• work closely with several senior housing researchers
• complete researcher skills and capacities mapping
• project management and development
• undertake research
• identify and engage with key stakeholders
• contribute to and lead written outputs of the project
• coordinate day to day administration of the project, including liaising with internal and external project partners.

About You

• a PhD degree in cognate area of housing studies, urban studies or similar area
• knowledge of housing policy and research
• good organization and project management skills
• experience in writing for academic and policy audiences.
