We are currently looking for: Senior Payroll Accounting Specialist

Location: Kraków

The main responsibilities in this position:

  • Ensuring timely Salary Payments and Payroll Accounting Records
  • Processing monthly payroll payments for employees and national insurance contributions, personal income taxes, PFRON contributions in compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Preparing, recording, analyzing, and reporting payroll related accounting transactions (journal entries) inc. payroll register and payroll accruals and ensuring the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
  • Cooperating with the external payroll provider and with internal and external auditors
  • Taking a part in preparation of financial reports according to Polish Accounting Standards and US GAAP (for statutory reporting purposes and consolidation)
  • Developing knowledge of regulations and interpretations related to payroll, accounting and financial reporting.
  • Interpreting payroll related data and keep up to date to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key payroll indicators and  payroll accruals.

Key Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance or Economics
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
  • The ability to think analytically
  • Experience in working with the SAP system (ECC and S4 HANA.  HCP);
  • Handling electronic Banking Systems and processing payroll payments
  • Knowledge of the TETA system will be an advantage
  • Good command of English (at least B2)
