The Opportunity
J&J Innovative Medicine (J&J IM) Research and Development Organization is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) position supporting the Business Growth, Innovation and Advocacy (BGIA) group, within Global Development (GD).

How You Can Help:
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Business Growth, Innovation and Advocacy (BGIA) group, part of Innovative Medicine R&D, providing strategic guidance and leadership across all forecasting, latest-thinking and financial close cycles, while ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
The key responsibilities & the impact YOU will have:
- Act as a strategic business partner to Business Growth, Innovation & Advocacy (BGIA) function within Global Development (GD) by leading both functional budget & headcount tracking.
- Present quarterly results and Functional Budget vs. Actual reporting packages to inform business partners on performance alongside identifying risks and opportunities within BGIA group.
- Oversight and management of total Global Development projects and CAPEX spend (forecasting and actuals), including CAPEX submissions.
- Provide strategic and executional support to Lead Financial Analyst regarding major forecast and close deliverables across the Innovative Medicine Global Development organization.
- Understand and apply Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team

What you need to succeed in this role:
Education:
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
Experience And Skills:
- A minimum of two and half (2,5) years of finance or related business experience is required.
- Candidate must possess excellent analytical (MS Excel) and presentation (PowerPoint), conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills. Power BI knowledge is also a plus.
- Candidate must be digitally driven, willing to drive process improvements through the adoption of new technologies and challenge the status quo.
- The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
- Individual must work well in a dynamic environment, while also being able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is preferred.
