Based in Bergen, Porsgrunn or Stavanger, you will be part of a team of field service engineers who can analyze and solve valves related problems, complete in-house repairs, maintenance at customer’s sites, start up, diagnostic, on call service and preparation before site installation.
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for performing the scheduled work according to the Emerson standards of safety and quality.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Enforce company’s and customer HSEQ standards at all times.
- Outage management coordination (customer contact, repair evaluations, safety, replacement parts and documentation), under the direction of the Service Manager.
- On-site Diagnostics/FIELDVUE testing, diagnostic testing data interpretation and recommendation/report generation
- Updating and supporting diagnostic equipment (Laptop, Valvelink, Flowscanner etc)
- Digital communication and diagnostic integration activities.
- Must be willing to travel on short notice and help customer service process orders if needed.
- Report generation for customers on outages and diagnostics
- Undertake day to day Field Service repair and maintenance activities.

You are a reliable professional, able to adjust communication content and style to meet the needs of diverse collaborators and accomplishing plans in order to achieve the desired outcomes.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Degree or equivalent experience in an engineering field or skilled worker with proven experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal skills along with a "Can Do" customer service attitude.
- Good communications skills and proficient in English –written and spoken.
- Strong Technical experience /understanding
- Product Knowledge
- The ability to be a great teammate with strong problem-solving skills.
- Availability to work offshore, if applicable.
- Maintenance experience (mechanical & electrical) is a plus
- Driving license for car (class B)
- Training instructor experience
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- General valves experience, preferred control valves.
- Off-Shore certificate
