Description

The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a Board-Certified or Recent Resident Graduate to join our core faculty as an  Academic Specialist in General Obstetrics & Gynecology. We are a close-knit and dynamic team striving to make a difference for our patients and deliver cutting-edge care while shaping the future of medicine for the next generation. Candidates will have the opportunity to practice the depth and breadth of our specialty, while having the option to cultivate their own skills and interests.

Our physicians practice at several clinical locations, primarily at facilities run by LCMC Health, a locally owned and operated hospital group with strong community and academic ties. Daytime, night and weekend call is shared among the faculty and includes in-house Labor & Delivery call and Gynecology call from home.

Qualifications

The candidate should possess strong clinical, interpersonal, and organizational skills and a desire to teach and mentor medical students and residents. The Department and Medical School offer collaboration and support structure for clinical research for candidates seeking to develop or advance their research careers. Academic rank will be determined based on training, experience, and prior achievements.
