St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting résumés for the 10-month position of Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach/Assistant Game Day Operations.   Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach responsibilities include assisting in the management of all phases of a highly competitive NCAA Division III Women's Lacrosse program which includes recruitment of qualified student-athletes; scheduling of contests; administration, organization, and evaluation of all aspects of the program; and adherence to all NCAA Division III conference and institutional policies and procedures.  Assistant Game Day Operations responsibilities may include set-up and breakdown of fields, greeting officials and visiting teams, escorting officials and visiting teams, supervising student workers and crowd supervision.  Other duties involve event support and event operations including set-up and breakdown of events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Knowledge of NCAA and United East Conference rules and regulations. 
  • Experience in collegiate coaching is preferred. 
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license. 
  • Ability to lift approximately thirty (30) pounds.
  • Ability to travel, work nights and weekends required.

Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. 

Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.

The salary range is $   , depending on qualifications and experience.
