**Currently hiring for a full-time night shift position**

Cedar Crest College has an excellent opportunity for an experienced law enforcement professional to join our campus police team! The College’s commissioned officers provide for the safety and welfare of the entire campus community, including our residential housing, on a 24-hour basis, 7 days a week. Duties include patrolling assigned areas, enforcing laws, policies and regulations, investigating crimes and accidents, responding to emergencies or other calls for service, preparing reports and providing safety education for our campus community.

• Job Type: Full-time and Part-time
• Pay: $21.00 - $30.00 per hour
• Expected hours: No less than 40 per week for Full-time

Qualifications

A degree in criminal justice and/or prior experience in law enforcement (Act 120) preferred, Act 235 certification, and 2 years' experience is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to campus community interaction and safety education. Position requires a background check, including criminal history, drug screening and a psychological evaluation.
