Belgium : Hopex Application Package Specialists - Freelance (REF18)

Role description:
Hopex Package Application Specialist consultants will be able to understand the full process of designing, creating, testing and implementing the application. They will be responsible for several tasks, including but not limited to the following:

In depth experience and knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance and Business Process Management modules ( minimum 7 years)

• Configuration/ creation of risks and risk related attributes, controls, business processes, business process modelling, organisational processes, etc
• Configuration/ creation of related workflowso 
• Configuration/ creation of reports
• Configuration/ creation of profiles, roles and permissions, including data access rules to segregate the access to data stored in the same repository
• Integrate the platform with other sources of information of the Bank (organisational units, applications)

Coordinate the different infrastructure tasks involved in the deployment, support and maintenance of the application eg for deployment of new modules, upgrades to the latest available version of the application ( currently Hopex V5 running in production) and underlying infrastructure (currently Web Server: IIS V10 , Java version: 1.8.0_271, MS SQL server 2019)

• Request the server infrastructure, accesses and permissions
• Install and configure software of the different application environments
• Patch application to be compliant with the security policies of the Bank
• Upgrade applications with new releases and versions
• Coordinate infrastructure works with other IT teams, such as OS support or DBA
• Troubleshoot application infrastructure issues together with the respective IT teams
• Ensure that proper monitoring is put in place for the applications by creating and maintaining adequate monitoring tasks in the EIB standard monitoring tools (Splunk)
• Create and maintain technical documentation of the applications in the area of responsibility: installation, configuration, operation and so on
• Ensure that the application is compliant with the desired documented configuration
• Propose, analyse, create specifications, develop and implement tools to administer and support the infrastructure of the application
• Perform backup/restore, fail-over and disaster recovery tests if required
• Provide 2nd Level support to the users
• Coordinate with vendor for resolving complex issues and deploy the latest packages
• Validate and implement changes as part of the change and release management processes
• Perform analysis and resolve incidents as part of the incident and problem management processes
• Create user reports to support the user access recertification process of the Bank
• Maintain the allocation of license tokens to the users of the platform
• Effective communication with various IT and non-IT stakeholders
