What is Specialist Data Analytics ?
The Specialist Data Analytics role is designed to strengthen data-driven decision-making across commercial planning, product performance, and channel optimization. With growing data volumes and increasing complexity of consumer products and campaigns, this position ensures the delivery of timely, accurate, and actionable insights. The role will bridge existing capacity gaps within the team, enhancing the quality, speed, and depth of reporting and analytics to drive smarter, insight-led decisions and improved business outcomes.

What does Specialist Data Analytics do?

The Specialist will be responsible for data collection, processing, and analysis to support product, channel, and campaign performance. Key tasks include:

• Building and maintaining dashboards and automated reports
• Deep-dive analysis for all consumer products, and campaign performance
• Identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies with actionable insights
• Supporting forecasting, cohort, funnel, and segmentation analysis
• Assisting in A/B testing, campaign impact evaluation, and ad hoc reporting
• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting systems

Types Of Analysis Expected:

• Descriptive Analytics (KPI dashboards: volume, ARPU, revenue)
• Diagnostic Analytics (root cause analysis on performance shifts)
• Campaign Analysis (uplift, conversions, retention)
• Product Usage Trends (journeys, churn, cohorts)
• Channel Effectiveness (app, USSD, retail)
• Segmentation & Forecasting (user profiling, recharge/deposit projections)

·       0-2 years of working experience preferably in a similar environment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Candidate should have good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Should have good communication and writing skills
• Self-driven and intellectually curious individual able to carry out impactful discussions with senior stakeholders.
